I went to eat here this summer this year, but I'm still annoyed with the service from the young girl. I arrived with my husband (we had a reservation) we had to approach her because she was chatting with her colleague or brother. Then we continued to talk briefly before we were answered. Okay, got the table, sat down and she even cleaned it. When asked if we could get an ashtray, the answer was yes, but unfortunately after the third time there was still no question. Menu took 15 minutes to arrive. We had to wait about 15 minutes again until we were able to order drinks and food, because we were not paid any attention, (walked past us with a lot of distance and no eye contact) they also called more often until they came. Drinks came a little faster after about 10 minutes, were very good, cheap and full to the brim. Food came after another 10 minutes only without the bread that came with it. We tried again to speak to her because we would have liked to have bread, but nothing came of it and then we unfortunately ate without bread. The food was very tasty and cheap, but unfortunately nobody came even once to ask whether it tasted good or whether we wanted to have a drink (both glasses were empty very quickly). So, do the same with the dishes and the bill. Again we had to "catch" her when she was around to call her because she would never have thought of coming to us on her own. We had to call her three times until she finally came to our table. I actually wanted to take my leftovers home with me, but since it took so long to clear it away and you had to scare away wasps and flies every 5 seconds (I didn't find it appetizing anymore) I didn't take it with me either, although I really liked it would like - a shame. Fortunately, we asked for the bill straight away. It came about after 10 minutes. And what I found best was the accounting, when it comes to the money, or even better, the tip, all of a sudden you can ask whether everything was good and smile and generally friendly be. My husband gave her something 35 € on a bill of 30 (far too much for this service in my opinion, but he always gives a lot more than me) and what does she do? Instead of being happy, she doesn't even say thank you, she even seemed disappointed! Just a shame, as the food was delicious and then such a lousy service. And no, it wasn't busy, 80% of the people had already had their meal and almost half of the seats were taken. Food would have got 5 stars, but it was just not nice food if the waitress played hide and seek with you.

The food is unique, beautifully presented and a delight for the palate. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. Always my pleasure!

We happened to be cycling and we were given a nice seat without pre-booking. The food was very good, the atmosphere great and the service very friendly. Price / performance absolutely top.

Took a little long because of overload, but the food was excellent (Pfälzer Teller for me) and the service was very friendly. Gladly again.

First of all, a big compliment to the team from the hiking home. We were just passing through and came across the Wanderheim by chance. At first we didn't reach anyone, but then the boss called us back immediately. The service was exemplary and very polite. The food was served well and we were very satisfied with the food. We now know where we will be on the next trip through the Palatinate. Thank you

It was worth it !!! We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The rump steak was cooked perfectly and the meat was very tasty. Great praise! Likewise the pork cutlet with cream sauce and mushrooms. The prices are moderate and the service is exemplary. We will recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back.
